Twilight (book vs movie)

To all of the twilight lovers out there...

The movie "twilight" is comming out on december 12th staring kristen stewart as bella swan and robert pattenson as edward cullen.

What do you think about robert pattenson for playing the role of edward...

Do you think it will be good or do you think it will ruin the book?

--- I personally feel that there is no way that the movie can be as good as the book was. But I am really hopein that the movie wont let me down... As for the choice of robert pattenson as edward cullen... I dont know if he was the 'best' choice but I also dont think that anyone could actually play the role of edward cullen considering how perfect stephanie meyer described him as.---

I think he's okay.. I did kind of prefer the guy chosen by stephenie meyer, and also the girl, but saw the trailer and the pictures, they arent that bad. robert is pretty hot ans he does look misterious.
I think it'll be okay, it will ruin the book, because they changed some things, and well, that always happends, like in all harry potters. but we all want to see the movie anyways right?

I agree with you... I don't think that anyone could be perfect for the role of Edward... But I feel okay saying that they could have picked a better guy for the job. He's just not what I pictured at all, not even close lol. I loved the book, and I'd like to think that the movie will live up to it's potential. But...almost every movie that I've seen that was once a book just isn't the same. I can't wait for the movie and find out. It couldn't ruin the book, it might ruin the idea of the book for someone who hasn't read it..If that makes sense. You always have to read the book before the movie, that's how I think anyway.

I like robert as edward but kristen for bella is not good I really wanted emily browning for bella but o well I'm acutally really scared for the movie because the books are aways better then the movie I didn't really want them to do a movie any way because its better in your imagination
