Trying to be responsible...

me. Asked by sammiep 9 months ago, 3 answers.

I am 14 years old. My boyfriend and I haven't been dating long, but we've been family friends for awhile. We recently started having sex on a regular basis. I need to get birth control, but I don't know how to tell my Mother. We're trying to be...

responsible about it and we've discussed it, but we just aren't sure how to break the news.

You don't need your mothers involvement to get birth control these days in the states... if you are able to goto this place below: I would already guess that your mom wont be to excited about her 14 year old daughter having sex right now... so its probably best if you goto this planned parenthood center and get Free birth control and condoms on your own... and do it as soon possible... I have seen to many girls on this site getting pregnant at a young age. These people can't tell your parents trust me.

If your mom and you don't have a really good bond, I wouldn't quite tell her yet that you are having sex. Tell her that you aren't feeling well and want to see a doctor, then ask your doctor to put you on birth control. The doctor cant legally tell your mom any information. I would wait a couple of years to tell her just incase. Be sure to use condoms as well.
