Is the existance of various religions and the division created by them the living proof of intelligent design?

The existence of religion is evidence of the intelligent design of religion. But you don't need to look very far for the designer. It's us.

Yesss! The fact that humans have the ability to reason with eachother and disagree on such topics is proof to me that there is some greater truth on which we are consciously or subconsciously aware of. Otherwise, what is the point? If we came from random events, the basis for which we reason and decide on such matters is equally as random and has no purpose.

not exactly. kinda.
we have the need in us to of course know why we are here- that was put into us by God- but not everybody sees that and/or chooses not to and try to create their own means of a god or idol or anything even money and popularity.
just goes to show how much we really need the real deal.

Rick- You will not find the answers to your questions on this sight but in the word - the bible holds all truth. people will only fill your head with their thought and views and our father said that we should not lean on our own understanding. many people think that christains are weak and so thats why we believe in him on the contrary we are not weak at all. I Love and Respect my father in heaven and I believe he died on the cross for our sins and I am Sorry that he had to go through that but he did it for us. but prophecy must be fullfilled it had to be done and though it was sad what he went through we know that he rose again. and jesus is alive. and there will be a rapture for his church. I pray that you come to know the truth in jesus holy name. take care- Rick God
Bless you. I know that people are harsh to christians, but we must endure till the end the bible also said that we will be persecuted for his sake and so be it he had to go through death for us a little persecution it is worth it for my father who created all things.

I don't think he asks these questions because he doesn't have some idea of the answer!

The purpose of the question is really just an indirect way of asking ''Who believes in God'' ...again...

But the topic chosen for cover, its makes as much sense as asking, ''Is carbon-dating proof that the universe started with a big bang?''

May be we have to prove to non-believers that there is a devider, before we prove there is a Savior. And the proof of absolute evil is evident in mans-religion. It is where satan does his dirtiest work. The real evil that surfaced in these lawsuits against the Catholic church may not be based just on the moral character of just a few priests, but in the large monetary wealth amassed by the Catholic church? Maybe Satan has had his hand on it from the beginning. "lay your treasures up in heaven"

The 'real evil' that you speak of, is internal. This 'power struggle' between good and evil is only as big as the conflict within the individual.

People are responsible for their own actions and inactions, good or bad, right or wrong. And to say that your choices are being influenced at both ends, in a tug-of-war game between a red-demon and an long-bearded celestial elder; is to deny the idea of individuality and free will. Or you could call it divine blame-placement...

I would say the proof of intelligent design, or God, exists all around us, in the nature we get to see everyday, in every baby that is born, in the scriptures, and within the feelings we have. it's everywhere but people don't always recognize it.

the fact that we have so many different religions proves that man has fallen away from the original teachings of Jesus and has twisted things to fit his own agendas. (ooo...that sounds so mean. didn't mean it to sound that way!)

...religions? Or do you mean 'denominations' of christianity?

ha ha, I totally have an answer for that, but I'd rather not be roasted alive in response to it (not saying that you would, but there are some others out there that...I worry about!).
