I noticed my truck runs hot sometimes. Is it something to worry about? I'm beter with masonry than doing things with cars.

It could be a number of things, but the two most common things are:
1. Not enough water in the radiator, and/or
2. You have a broken fan belt

The aforementioned problems are easy to check, but if it's not one of those then I'd suggest getting a mechanic to check over your truck for you; there are a lot more problems that can occur which are harder to check for if you don't know what you're doing.

May need to flush that radiator - I'd get the system checked now before I'm stranded.
