How can I treat sore muscles from working out?

what you think? Asked by kraziekd about 1 year ago, 6 answers.

I just signed up to this gym and so far I worked out for 2 days. My whole body ached like crazy and I can't even bend over because my legs hurt. So my question is, what is the best way to treat it?

all right dude the first time I started going to the gym I ached like crazy.. I think what can help you would be to possibly strech out before working out and then when you are done working out you should come home and take a nice hot shower for however long.. it may not work for you but its helped me and a lot of my family and friend.
(hope that helps)

Well im only 14, but when im sore after playing sports and stuff I usually ice the parts that are sore..so like if your arm is sore just get an ice pack or something and wrap it around your arm..it also help if you relax in a hot tub.

Aromatherapy can work wonders. Blend a few drops each of essential oils of peppermint, rosemary, chamomile and lavendar (or any combination of the above) into a small bottle of sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, or even olive oil, and rub it on the sore muscles. Alternatively, put those drops in a bath and soak in it.
