Tounge pircing...

OMG I want my tounge pirced SO bad. But my dad still treats me like im 3(im an only child and "daddy's lil girl" how can I convince him to let me get it done? Or would it be easier to just go behind his back and do it?

You should not go behind his back and do it. Don't do that cause you will get caught and get in trouble. Maybe if you talk to him about why you want your tounge pierced then he will change his mind. Or you could be more responsibe for it. Or suggest paying for it by getting a job and making the money. If your not old enough then do something for someone and have them pay u.

Well, my dad disallowed me to pierce my tongue too. I actually called my sister to sign the form for me. So when my dad knows that I got my tongue pierced, he cant do anything.

Maybe you should show him how much you are craving for the tongue piercing. Like, show him some pictures of it and copy down the aftercare on a pierce of paper and decorate it with words like "Aww. It so cool ! I LOVE tongue piercing ! " and show your dad.

If your dad still dont allows you, maybe you should wait till you could sign the form for yourself. The only way you can hide your tongue piercing from your dad is to hang with your friends when your dad is at home and stay at home when he is not around. Because during the healing period, your tongue will swell up and when you talk, you'll probably sound like retarded.

ok, A) you're too young to have it done without his consent, and if you do, your dad has the right to report the business for piercing a minor...

you want you rtounge pierced so bad? why? I had mine done 16 years ago when they really were cool to have done and not every tom di*k or harry had it done..I still have my hole...but I never use it anymore...(well only to shut people up who think they're soo cool for having it done...)

it's not cool, it's not big and it's not clever...whats so smart about permanently scarring a part of your body? whats so cool about a piercing that may damage the nerves and some sensation in your tounge...

I must admit, because I have my piercings it is going to make having piercings a lot less cooler to my kids, but if they want it done, then fine...I'd rathe rthey had that than a tattoo...

I honestly have no problems with piercings, and I would rather my child had it at a business that I knew and it was reputable rather than having it at some back street piercer where they don't use sterile equipment and jewellary...

I would like to re-iterate that I have NO problem with you getting the piercing and no problem with your age etc...but I would advice against it because EVERYONE seems to have one now...and surely you want to be individual and not follow the pack???

don't have it done becuase everyones got one and it seems popular...

and you won't be able to eat properly for about 3 days, your tounge WILL swell and it is very very possible your dad WILL notice...

does your dad trust you? do you want to loose that trust over a little bit of metal?

trust is priceless...and it may cost you more than just the price of your piercing!

think about it
make sure its really something you want
dont get it behind his back
because its not a piercing that you can easily find
hell find out one way or another
if you want to keep his trust talk to him more
or try and compramise with him
do something like chores or something with responsibility so hell let you get it
or just wait longer

show him your not his little girl anymore,
prove him wrong, & show him your responsible
enough to take care of yourself now instead
of being babied around all the time.
he'll come around sooner than later after that
