Yeah its normal. Usually happens when you go for a kiss way too fast, resulting in a painfull clash of the teeth.

So basically dont get so excited when your about to kiss someone start out slow.

Yeah it did happen to me with a lot of people, but like the first time we hooked up, then you just get to know that person and get used to hooking up with him/her, and it will start happening less often and then less and so on, till the just don't anymore. (at least that's my personal expierence)
