but I've heard it doesn't hurt that bad, like you bit your tongue

Me at my age, I was going to get it done, but when I saw that tool and heard the person in front of me holler, I said f**k this I'm no pin cushion.
And my friend who went before me, I'm so glad he went before me.
Before you get it, watch some else get it done.
Then make up your mind.

my uncle got his done and it was swollen for 3 days. he said it hurt like hell and he regrets it, I personally think that not a lot of people can pull them off and they erode your teeth anyway. but if you think it would look good on you and your super tough go for it!!

My friend recently got his done,he told me the clamp hurt more than anything.
He said he didnt even feel the pericing itself,the clamp kind of makes the pain less.

I got mine done about 6 weeks ago. It was the easiest piercing I have ever had done. It didnt hurt as bad as getting my ears done, not even close. Yes, you will have some swelling but if you take Midol as per the instructions on the box for 3-4 days you will be fine. Stop by Sonic and get you a cream slush afterwards, stay away from the strawberry ones though, the strawberries will get stuck on the tongue bar. You will need to avoid certain foods for a few days...anything that is round, like spaghetti o's or Fruit Loops, no noodles and stay away from spicy foods for about a week. Make sure you have a bottle of Listerine with you everywhere you go because you need to rinse your mouth after eating, drinking or smoking (which I hope you dont do) Also, it does effect the enamel on your teeth eventually so it is recommended that you get a good toothpaste and mouthwash that says helps protect enamel.

Nah. To me, it does not hurt at all. Erm.. But during the healing period, it will swell. For some people the healing period hurts a lot. But for me, it does not hurts at all. Except when you're trying to eat something solid during the first few days.

I havemy tongue pierced, best percing you can get. it doesnt hurt, I feel pain, nearly fainted when I got my navel(belly button) done and my nose was agony! didnt feel my tongue, the girl doing it told me that you only have nerves on the top and bottom of your tongue so you feel a small pinch there, no nerves actually in your tongue so you dont feel it. no point listening to people who dont have it because they dont no, I do and it doesnt hurt.

Well I just got my tounge pierced like 5 days ago...it doesnt hurt that much really...just the only part that hurt for me is when they pushed the needle out to put the tounge ring in...and also the worst part of all of it is the pain of the few days afterwords its hard for me to get used to eatting with something in my mouth...but hope this helped oh its done quicker than you realize...hope you get it done I love mine...
