japan is very price, I was there in 1995 and I was paying 5 dollars for a can of budweiser beer. the japanese people are very nice and polite and when they see americans they want to take pictures with them. learn a little about their culture before you go. if you go try the big bottle of georgia coffee(cold). you are going to love their high tech vending machines. good travels
