I am a natural brunette. I went blonde (grew up in Daytona Beach, got the suntan - etc). I looked like I was ill. I don't have the coloring for blonde. I would got to the person who cuts your hair or a really good salon and ask for their idea. There are so many shades of color out there. Try some wigs on. Trust me, if you can pull off blonde, you'll see it the second you put a wig on. BUT - what about some high and lowlights - they don't give you that streaky weird look, but just play on the natural highlight in your color. Have it done by a professional, trust me - you DO NOT want orange streaks in your hair! Also, avoid black. The only people who can pull off black are asians and some african-americans. Caucasians look like corpses with black hair. So, what does that leave you? Reds, golden browns, light browns, deep copper browns - look at your coloring. Are you fair? Of mediterranean background, or middle eastern. Your skin tone will very according to this. Most people have blue or yellow undertones in their skin - go the wrong color and you look liike you have mono. Take your time, and talk to your friends, a stylist, go to the local cosmetology school and see if they do coloring and if so, do they have someone there (they are supervised at all times) who can tell you what color would rock on you. Let me know, I'd love to see what you have now and end up with. As for me, for my 50th birthday, I am having one lock of my spiky bangs dyed burgundy-red, to celebrate life. I want to be a cool old person. I hope your hair comes out like so perfect and you love, love, love it!!! Grace

What extreme color for my hair?
I've been a brown haired person for about most of my life would it be an too extreme change for me to go to blonde and if yes.. what would be another color that might be good for me?
