Why can't we scream on a roller coaster?

Sometimes when me and my friends are on roller coasters and we want to scream, we simply cant! I mean it feels so weird. not that we are scared, we just want2 scream! and even if we open our big mouths,nothing comes out! does anybody know why?

I know it feels like all th eairs been knocked out of you, I think its because your bodys in a state of shock
