im twelve years old and I love to sing. I sing all day long and everyday even when im sick,singing makes me feel so incredible happy but my mom wont let me go to auditions, she think I'll turn into a spoiled brat. she doesnt...

beleive me that I wount turn into one.I mean I alway so audition for school talent shows but as I get older I get more bussy.I know that singing is my destany. my mom told my I have been singing since I was two years old.

Is there a choir in your school? If there is, you should join and you will get a lot of good coaching, you could also try out for solos to get you a little more experienced singing in front of people! When you begin high school, you should have a little more control over the things you want to do to persue your dream and you could get a job eventually and put yourself through vocal lessons! If you stick with it and prove to your mom your passion for singing, she may eventually begin to see your side of it and help you in achieving your goal to be a professional! Good luck!

I'm a singer sweety, IF IT IS YOUR DREAM AND YOU KNOW IN YOUR HEART ITS WHAT YOU WANT TO DO... THEN DO IT... don't let anyone get in your way. Your only young, but talents quests and auditions are a great way of getting out there and getting known, you get great experience from it and meet people in the same boat as yourself. Find yourself a good singing teacher to teach you the basics of breathing techniques and I would suggest learn an instrument, guitar is an excellent way of gaining rhythm but piano is the grand instrument and suits female voices, so I would either say Guitar or piano.

my mom does the same thing!!! I LOVE singing and acting,and it's my dream to be in family films,but my mom does the same thing that your mom does to you. I Think you should read up on how to do a proffesional audidtion. I thought that I could just go in and do it fine...but I was way wrong!!! I went to a few classes on audidtioning and I found out sooo much stuff!!! What to wear,how to pick a song/monologe to fit me, marking ,slating ,all sorts of things that I had never heard of. PLEASE research and read about it, I promise it will help a lot!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

I'd like to first off start by saying my best friend is an amazing singer. She sings all the time, and has broken through that sort of "brick wall holding back your dreams because you won't sing in front of people" sort of thing. I believe that if you keep working hard at it, putting yourself out there, you'll be satisfied. Maybe you can start by singing in the choir, talent show, variety show, etc...whatever your school has. Next, you might want to look around on google, maybe try typing in "talent shows in [your town here]". Just search around and if youre mom doesnt let you, maybe try explaining to her how this is your passion, your childhood dream, and you'd give anything to do it. Try persuading her that you wouldnt' be a spoiled brat by doing things around the house to show appreciation. I don't know...

well I am twelve also and I love 2 sing and I sing all the time , thee best advice that I can give you is 2 follow your dream do thing to get you noticed sing out in public and maybe there might just be a person from jive records or something ding a school talent shows or sing in the choir
