This guy is really annoying

There's this guy in my school that likes me. I barely know him. When my friends told me that he liked me. I didn't even know who he was!! So 2 days after. This guy came up to me and my friends told me hes the one. He asks me out. I say no (obviously)...

Then hes like okay.. So I thought. .. Okay that's done.
But guess what? He's like " I think she likes me because she smiles when I say stuff." no I do not smile at him. Just because hes near and hes saying somthing, doesn't mean I'm laughing or smiling at him!! Yesterday, my friend asked if I liked him. I said no. And I ask why. She said that guy told her that I secretly went up to him and told him I loved him omg I got so pissed. My friend was spazzing at him and telling him to stop lying. He was like," no she really did, maybe you just dont know her enough" wth? I know her more than I know him! Then my friend just told him to shut up.

Some people already know all about it.
Apparently he spread rumors about us dating and how we love eachother. People think its true.
What should I do? I don't even know what he'll do next

u can beat the crap outta him, spread rumours that he has a small male genital,
or you can ask him to stop but do it in front of school so you can embarass him a lot when you tell him "NO I DONT LOVE YOU! AND F OFF!" that could work
