Would the world wide web collapse if google randomlly disapeered.

While it wouldn't collapse, web development would definitely suffer.

Google is more than a search engine these days. It is actually a HUGE index of web content (yahoo maintains one as well). a lot of information would be lost.

I'm pretty sure the web would be fine and it wouldn't collapse until the very last person using the web disappeared.

look on every page, and I mean every page of the web, google advertises on it...

This is how lots of sites get a lot of they're hits and also money from the "Ads by Google" section

AND youtube would disapeer...
