I think saying "yeah im an emo" would be gay
just stop being an emo
there are too many emos in the world for there to be another one..

just tell the truth
you have every right to feel the way you do
or label yourself as that
just like everyone else labels themselves as say a gangster, jock, prep, nerd, goth, punk, ect, ect
and you shouuld never feel embarrased or ashamed of who you are
or that you have to hide it
be honest with yourself and to other people
of course not everyone will understand and respect it
theres people who like emos, theres people who dont
no one all likes the same thing
so tell the truth, youve got every right to

You can feel whatever you want, just personally I think it's stupid to conform to labels such as "emo."

Why can't you just be a "human being who happens to have the capacity for emotions some people tend to misunderstand."

Too long, I guess..

I think the whole emo hatred doesn't stem from the people, but from their willingness to label themselves. It really isn't necessary to call yourself names or dress a way you think you NEED to dress to be considered "emo."

don't label yourself. If you want to tell them then you should tell them but if they are insecure enough to ask you if your emo then ask them what they are (prep, jock, gangsta) then they will realize how pointless it is to even care. Anyway just be happy and try and love life!

I dont see any reason why you wouldnt tell them you were emo unless you were embarrased or unsure if you were or not?

Dude heres the deal man...what is up with all the labels nowadays...emo, rocker, etc its gay and stupid...no offense. I'm the singer in an alternative band but I dont label myself a rocker or a metal head...Your a person and you just view the world in a different way, you have different feelings than most people and you are an emotional person, whats wrong with that? Who cares what your label is...your a f@#ckin person...DAMN THE CRITICS...

Um, if they ask you but don't be all "Hi, I'm emo"
Cause a lot of people hat emos, I don't
but people will try to beat you up.
Don't care if others call you a poser,
the only thing that's important is you
knowing who you are.
Anyways, if that's you in the pic, you're
obviously emo.
Try not to label yourself though, make up another word
but don't be a sheep. Goats are cooler.

emo isnt really who you are, its more what you do. and labeling urself usually isnt the best idea. not only because it makes you look like a poser, but also beacuse who cares if your emo or not. if thats who you arethen thats who you are, doesnt mean you have to go and shout it to the world.
