The sims 2 job problem

My Sims got promoted to level 8 in Business, (President) When I went to his house today his job level was back at level 1. So I used the cheat, Toms Clothing Tester to get him back to level 8. Then the glitch occured where the sim wont go to work. So I...

forced an error on him and deleted that sim. Then I went back to the house and his job level was back at level one again!. Is there just a problem with my game or is there some way to fix this? Thanks for anyones help.

I have no clue what is wrong. Are you low on money? sometimes that happens. Maybe you forgot to save??? I think thats what happened. Was there a thunderstorm? Try dusting you disk. to get more money press Shift, c, ctrl, and Space Bar to get a green box in the corner. Type in the box: rosebud then do this several times : ;!;!;!;!;!;!;1;!;!;!;! add a one once and then keep pressing enter. ITS EASY Good luck hope this helps

The cheats often mess up the game, make it slow, or even crash the game. For me when I try to do that cheat it says my sims are unemployed! weird

I have the siem 2, the rosebud cheat is for The original sims, but thanks anyway, and yes the cheats do seem to mess up the game for me, The Toms Clothing cheat always seems to mess up and never really works right. Ill stay away from that cheat.
