The sims 2 deluxe upgrades?

I have The Sims 2 Deluxe and when I download a house or something like that for the game, I dont know how to instal this thing.

Here is how to install a house:

1. Download a house you want to use in your game to a folder you will remember.

2. If the house is in .zip format you will need to unzip it. Open the file in your zipping program.

3. Extract the house to maxis\thesims\userdata\houses\.

4. If you have an expansion pack you will need to choose the neighborhood's userdata folder you wish to play the game in. Example - Neighborhood 3 would be \thesims\userdata3\houses\

5. If the house is not zipped up, then copy and paste the file into the neighborhood house folder you want to play the house in.

6. Next time you open the neighborhood, the house you downloaded will appear.

If you are downloading it off the sims2.com
then you have to press on the picture of it,
then press download,
there will be a box saying ' open, save, cancel '
you need to press open.
after it had finished, a blue bow will come up
saying ' download ' at the bottom. You press that.
Then ' ok '.
And thats it ! you have downloaded it.

But can you tell me what the sims2 deluxe is please.
Is it all of the sims2 on one disc ? and how much was it ?
