Has anyone read the secret?

Has anyone read "the secret", and if so...what did you think?

oo I heard of that book! I want to read it...hmm I think im going to get it tonight hha. did you read it? was it good???

I've heard about it and it seems to be a warmed over rehash of the imagine-it-and-it-will-happen BS. I've got better things to waste my time on.

I read about half of it, but it seems tooo far fetched and way to repetitive. Read the first chapter and then it pretty much says the same thing over and over again. To me it was a waste of my money...especially since I bought one for my sis too. : ((

My mom bought the movie when it came out and then I bought the book to read on the way over here on the plane. It makes a lot of sense, although I'd personally rather watch the movie than read the book because it's pretty much word for word.

On the 26th my mom and I are going to presentation of it by the author in Portland. So that should be interesting.
