The flag in school

do you think in school when everyone has to do the pledge that it should say god in it?
because everyone has there own beliefs, they shouldn't have to go to school and say god if they dont believe in it?

hey really you have different kinda view of thinking
neways you are absolute right that everyone has right in this world whether he/she want to believe in god or not.
but as far school (educatinal institutions ) concerns they can't go for it that if anyone want to say God in pledge then they can or not . Dear if we don't want to be believe in god then there is no need to do pledge.
Maybe I m positive while saying all this, because I m believer in god... hehehehee

you don't HAVE to do the pledge.. it's legal to refuse ya know.. next time just don't bother and if the teacher says something then ignore her.

Nope... it should either have NO deities mentioned, or it should have ALL deities mentioned.

Heres my thought say the pledge just don't say god. if you want substitute god with something you agree with. I dont care for the pledge myself I think a government has to earn the right to rule its not a given. Also our government is suppose to beholden to the people not the people beholden to the government.

I also beleive that people in a court should not have to agree on a bible, or that everyone has to get married in a church, ect
substituting the word "god" was a good idea
its just sad that in a lot of ways, people still havnt evolved very far
