The legal age for drinking in all states is 21. Therefore it would be wrong for you to drink before turning 21. These laws are meant to protect you, so please abide by them.

If you want to then do. I used to be a big religious one but kind of gave up. Personally I think it's alright aslong as you don't hurt anyone physically or emotionally by doing it. I don't think God would exactly be extatic but I don't think he would kill you for it either. I know a lot of christians that do drink though. Prehaps it would be a better one to ask you reverand etc.?

No, it is not okay to drink christian or not.

Ditto what "ethmer" states about age 21.

Unless, you've seen what alcohol does to you and to your brain, short and long term then I don't know why you would start.

I have seen what it does and "all" the problems it causes my only advice to you is not to keep going. It causes problems in a relationship, in family, financial burden, accidents, deaths, HANGOVERS, and health problems, oh yeah, and if you haven't watched all the alerts on t.v. about day rape when they bump up your drinks then get informed.

Sorry, about the harsh words, but it's reality and I've seen too much with the alcohol involvement and they are not pretty pictures.

A little goes a long way so just think about it, if it really is worth it.

Well, everyones opinion is different, yeah it's illegal until your 21, but barely anyone has ever broken that law at one time or another
im 16 and drink
my best friend is a major Christian and started drinking when we were 14
it's fun, but can get you in trouble if your not smart about it
do what you want to do, don't listen to anyone but yourself

I think it's ok on special occasions like christmas and easter and birthdays. but it's easy to start drinking to much so I wouldn't even start.

I'm a Christian and I think a bit of wine or beer is fine with a meal or at a party, but not at your age. First it is illegal at the moment, second, as some others have said, it can cause more damage or be more of a risk of abuse at 15. I waited until I was 21 before I started having a glass of wine at a party, and I'm happy with that decision. Being drunk is no fun; having a drink amongst adults can be very pleasant.

the bible tells us to follow the laws of the land. Underage drinking would be breaking a law making it a sin Drinking as long as you don't get drunk when your 21 isn't wrong but until then we just have to wait. If you have to question weather it's wrong or not it probably is.
