How do I tell my friend I don't want to go to the beach?

My best friend asked me to go to the beach with her... but also with her aunt and cousin. I've gone with them before, but it's always awkward...like the cousin will ask my friend, "What's her name again??" talking about me while I'm standing right there!...

The cousin doesn't talk to me at all! I don't want to go but I don't know what to tell my friend..Please answer soon!!

I wouldn't worry about it - think of it as, you're there to support your friend and have fun - I know it's irritating but don't let it bother you - Smile and have fun regardless !!

That is super rude of the cousin, but don't let it bother you to the point of skipping out on your friend!!! Just remember; people can only make you feel inferior with your permission. I say, forget the cousin and go the beach!!!
