How to get my teacher to leave me alone?

I have a teacher that is an absolute butt how can I show him to leave me alone and he doesn't scare me?

Dear mattman,
I work with teacher everyday and they are as human as you and me...so if you have a gripe about something speak with him about it. A student told me the other day that he knew one teacher came down hard on him because he knew he could do better and that he didn't want to see him fail. There is a reason this teacher is bothering you...perhaps he feels the same way, that you can succeed and you are not trying hard enough??? So without speaking with him you won't know why he is so hard on you.

He just wants me to suck up to him but I don' want to.

I had a teacher like that once I threw up on his desk and we was even.

First off, always suck up to the teacher early on, they almost always become biased to grade you higher on any subjective assignment (such as writing, art work, science/history fairs).
Now more to the point, don't do anything rash that could get you a referral, suspended, or expelled. I agree with sue90, try talking to the teacher and finding common ground with him.

Try to make the point across that you do not answer to him he's just trying to call you out and bully you! Let him know that you don't care and he'll feel dumb in front of the class
