Does anyone have any ideas for a lower back tattoo?

My 16th birthday is comming soon...and im getting a tat.. I think I want it on my lower back...does anyone have any ideas?!? Just let ya girl know!!!

I love tattoos, they can be so beautiful. but personally I don't think you should get it on your lower back aka don't get a 'tramp stamp'. I don't know thats just me.
get something that means a lot to you, just dont get any names or faces of people you know.

Sure, wait til your 18 so that you're body is more fully developed and the tattoo doesn't stretch.

Otherwise, you could get something like a lot of people do, butterflies, music notes, initials.

It's really hard to give someone advice on tattoos, when you don't know anything about them.

Im getting one is a couple days and im getting my grandmas name with a lilly flower..on mii neck.. But like get something your into stuff like that...but im told your foot and side hurts a lot but this will be my first one

I wouldn't advise getting it on your lower back, cause I've heared that if you want to have a baby, they won't be able to give you any of those pain killers when you're in labour - because it can effect the baby!! why not get it on the back of your lower neck or on one of the backs of your shoulder? - plus when you age... unlike your back... those two spots don't wrinkle as much as your lower back!! anyhoo... hope you pick out a sick pic or design for your tattoo :D make sure it's something meaningful to you... a nice idea is getting a word or your name written in chinese... very hot!! =)

I'd get something that means something to you, dont just get any old design, think of something meaningful. And yeah people do go on about the "tramp stamp". Personally I think they're cute...

Yea...I wanted something with my name *Miranda* in it...and mabey with stars around with it...

if you have something personal like a cross for your faith or if you have a nickname like cookie you could get a cookie or a talent like if your a singer a music note or if your a dancer ballet slippers, an artist a paint brush, ect. but on the back would be a good place for your name since itll be longer and go across your back.

I'm Gettin a tatoo there but im getting a tribal heart that I designed with song lyrics going around it with my boyfriends name in the middle of the heart so its something that means a lot to me . im havin his name in the middle of the heart so that if we ever do break up I can just have the heart filled in.
