Makeup to cover tattoo at job?

im going to school for medical office specialist and my main goal is to do my externship in a hospital as a phlebotomist. I have tattos on my wrist and I can cover one with a watch but I dont know what to do for my other one. you can't tell I have...

them until' I position my hand to take blood then you can see my tat. YIKES! P.S. We cant wear bracelets! is there make up that can cover them well!

You can try the skin colored bandages. I also have tattoos on my wrist and I find people are intrigued by them they want to know their meanings and why I got them. As long as they aren't vulgar they may help your patients get more comfortable while say your taking their blood.

well no1 ever notices them until' I show em! they freak out and say they never knew! they are not big at all! a finger can cover each one up.

Before you get too worked up about this, get hold of the hospital's employee handbook or rules of conduct and find out if this is even going to be an issue. Or call the hospital's Human Resources department and ask a few anonymous questions. Thanks to Gen X and Gen Y, visible tattoos are not the big deal they were 20 years ago, and there's a good chance (assuming that your tattoos are not swastikas or burning crosses) that no one will care.
