It depends on where you get them.
Places near the bone hurt the worst,and your leg is the most sensitive part of your body.
After a while,it eventually goes numb.

I got one on my ankle and it hurt like a mo fo! I thought I was going to tear the leather off the chair I was sitting on. But...come to find out a little later the artist I went to has a rep for sticking the needle in too deep. just depends on where you go and who does it

I don't have any but my brother has one on his arm and said it didn't hurt too bad so I think it depends where you get it at on your body and how the artist is.

Location, location, location... fleshy areas such as your arm won't hurt too bad. I have one on my ankle that hurt a LOTTT because it was near bone. I also have them on my wrists, just below my palms... and those were almost unbearable.

It's simple really... if it's near/touching bone... it's going to hurt a LOT
If it's in a fleshy area... less pain.
