What's this systems 32 error on my computer?

august_set_blackdye Asked by nero about 1 year ago, 3 answers.

For a few months now, my computer has been acting strangely. It boots up fine and takes me to the windows sign in screen so I can log into the computer but when it loads I get a pop-up that says something about a systems32 error and not being able to...

locate it. I ran anti-virus and had it scan the entire system, but it turned up clean so it's not a virus. Every so often the computer will either just randomly turn off in the middle of what I'm doing or it will cut to a blue screen and stay there until I have to unplug the computer to shut it down.

Help?

Have you:
Run defrag on the hard drive? if not, worth doing.
Run windows update? If not, definitely worth doing
Read on the manufacturer website to see if there are any driver updates to install from them for your hardware? If not...worth doing.

Once you do those, you should have a better idea of what the error is (or it should be fixed by one or more of those things...)

Mine did the exact same thing! My ex-frind spent the night and when everyone went to bed she went on my computer and looked at p*rn (she's messed up, don't ask) and ever since then my computer did that same thing. We called centurytel and they fixed it completly. Everythings perfect now! So call centurytel or where ever you got your computer through and tell them what your computer says and what it does. They will help you. Good Luck!
