How to take down swelling in my nose?

wow. things got out of hand last night and this guy ended up giving me a real good bloody nose. now it is totally swollen and HURTS! is there anything besides ice that can take down the swelling?

and my mom said dont put ice on it it will make it worse..

puttin raw meat on your nose.

im at work, and I work behind a desk lol. I will try ice and sly with it, but no raw meat lol.

and its a long story, he pretty much thought he could get in my face and talk to me however he wanted because im a girl, but im a tough girl and he decided to get in a fight with me. I was with my cousin, also a girl and we handled him..

but still it was messed up.
