It has a pretty unique taste and texture... Start out trying something like a California Roll. If you like that... go wild.

Delicious. *Fresh* sushi should have little flavor and break off very smooth and clean when you bite into it. It's usually very yummy, I haven't had a kind I don't like, except Octopus

Different kinds taste different.
For example, a spicy tuna roll does not taste like a Philadelphia roll, but they are both quite delicious.

Also, I'd like to point out--sushi does not have to contain raw fish. "Sushi" does not mean a meal made with raw fish, it refers to the preparation, and the use of vinagared rice.
