ok well this guy that I like asked me to the movies. and he's 17 and I'm 14 but I said yes and my parents won't let me go without my friends coming. it's so retarded. but how do I tell him? and what do I do, what can I do? it makes me mad!

After you become adults, age gaps mean less and less (I am interested in someone far older than I right now), but when you are young, it's important to like people closer to you in age. Your parents are just looking out to you. They are definitely more concerned with the fact you are going out with an older man than with the fact you are just going to the movies. No harm in inviting friends along, I'm sure it will be a great time.

ok advice you have 3 options
1. tell your parents your friends are comeing*when they really arent*
2. tell him striagh out what your rents said && c where that goes
or
3. just tell him you already have plans if you don't want your friend to go

Does he know you're 14? If he really wants to take you to the movies, he shouldn't mind if your friends come along...just tell him the truth about what your parents said.

Maybe he could come over to your house and meet your parents...perhaps if they feel he is a good kid, they may change their minds, but heck, I don't see what would be so bad about your friends coming along with you.

Just be honest with both him and your parents. :-)

Don't lie to your parents! You don't want them to mistrust you...otherwise you might be 30 before they let you go out alone with a guy! *Grin*

just tell your friends to come pick you up at your house and pretend that theyre coming with you. once you get there tell them to get lost and go with the guy...but what I wud do is wait a couple more years before you start going out wit guys that are 3 years older because at this age it really does matter

DON'T LIE ..it is never good to lie and never results in any thing good happening...plus it does not solve anything..tell them the truth..

This sounds easy for you. Just listen to your parents and go with some friends and also this boy. It is a no brainer, your parents sound pretty cool and this is by no means a crazy request from them to ask of you. If the boy is against it then you may want to really listen to your parents request and find out if this boy likes YOU or likes what you have instead. Remember guys can be pigs lol!!

I have one thing to say. your parents are jokes. gosh rather strict. but dont lie. you need to earn their trust then they will be more lenient in future.
