You might make up some flyers and post them at or near motorcycles sales/repair shops and advertise in local free publications - maybe meet every Sat or Sun at 2pm (after church) - try ot for a month and see if interest grows...Good luck !!

I like that...'after church'...my advice is don't take any advice from amblessed. Best thing to do is join an existing club, that way you won't waste paper, and look like a NIGEL NO FRIENDS!!

Why start a motorcycle CLUB when you can start a motorcycle GANG?! Just ride your hog down a dark alley and recruit any bike-ridin' ruffians you see.

Listen, lets get serious. To start your on club is a lot of hard work. This hard work is you being able to woo others and have something to offer. First find a machanic that will join because if you have someone who can work on you members bikes at a lesser rate than the surrounding dealers that is a plus. If you plan on being the person to select riders make sure that you select riders that ride and not just talk. Membership is never free, not even to president. Dues are to paid. Advertise for your club. Use you club for the community like doing fund raisers and the community will support you back. Have safety rides to let you communtiy know your there, because if you start a chaprter in a town were there are not a lot of bikes then drivers don't respect bikes and accidents happen. Do you want a 'club' or do you want to meet a good group of people to ride with? If you are new to riding you may be better off befriending some of the older guy's they have a lot of knoledge and you can learn a lot.

You can start with a group of friends who like to ride...but do not use the words Motorcycle Club or M.C. without clearing it with the clubs in your area...there is a
matter of getting permission, from whatever M.C. is the Big Dawg in your area..
could be the Hells Angels Chapter, , etc. I would call (they are in the phone book) and ask before doing it...some clubbers are very particular about who uses what name,
colours, etc.
