I think Green Tea Boosts you metabolism by 4%. Sorry, I don't know how much you need to drink, but I hope it helps a little!

Eating speeds up your metabolism and so does exercise. Therefore, when you diet,if you don't eat enough your metabolism slows down. The body goes into famine mode and stores up fat So a healthy diet combined with exercise is a way to burn up calories.

Eat every 4-5 hours, protein with every meal, like skinless chicken, turkey breast, fish, loin type meats, skim milk, non fat yogurt, eggs, tofu, beans and lentils. Your metabolism increases every time you eat. To speed up metabolism add these to your foods, they considered thermogenic foods, cayenne pepper, salsa, hot peppers, tabasco, mustard or chili sauce, Ice water, green tea, and veggies like cabbage, celery, brussel spouts, broccoli, cauliflower, berries, and oatmeal will help also! And you need to exercise at least 4-5 times a week, and for 30 minutes, 1 hr of walking or jogging will help a lot, but try and work into aerobics, resistance training also.
