I'm hispanic and yes we do get made fun of now and then on how we're illegal immigrants and stuff. I was born in miami and my family is cuban so sometimes I get stuff like my parents are balseros (people who come in rafts), most of it is really stupid comments. Honestly, I don't know why some other races hate us. I think its because we have flavor! lol :-D Sabor Latino! No seriously I don't know...

Because they are awesome!
Just like every race.
But Mexican's are freaking cool.

And on a serious note, we need to understand each other.
To that one dude who says we all walk around trying to act gangster:
So do white people, so do black people, so do asians.

And I'm Mexican, I don't talk in spanish to make people not understand me for fun.
Yeah, I can come up with ten-thousand reasons why any race sucks, including my own.
But people are individual.
Also, I don't drink or do drugs.

Spanish isn't a race btw, It's either Mexican or Latino. Or Hispanic.

I think how you act doesnt depend on your race.. but on how you were raised.

I personally think that not the fact that you are Latin, but the way you CHOOSE to act has a great deal to do with it. I have a sister in law from Peru who is the sweetest person you could ever want to know, but I have a co-worker who is from Puerto Rico and is a total beatch!! I also worked with a Cuban girl who was HORRIBLE..So I think the distinction may lie in the section of country that you come from...also, some people think it's cool to be mean, in fact most people, all races these days do, not because they intentionally start out wanting to hurt people, but because this world sucks so bad and the only way to overcome and make lots of money is to step on those less powerful...MONEY MONEY MONEY!!! I refuse to do it, maybe I'll stay poor and defeated, but I know I'll get to heaven..

I dont hate Hispanic people but growing up I have been bullied by hispanic girls many times. Honestly I dont know why...I'm a very shy girl who wouldn't hurt a fly! Anyways, I think, like others have said, that its the way that they have been brought up. The things they learn from their parents or peers make them the way they are. I always wondered why it was always the Hispanic girls that picked on me, maybe it was just a coincidence. Now I'm married to a man that is 100% Dominican and because of the way I was treated growing up I always feel nervous around his mother. It doesnt help that his family, who all knows English, only speaks Spanish when I'm around. I dont understand that. But again, I dont hate them, I just dont understand them! We have to learn about each others cultures to understand why we are the way we are.

are the people who make Spanish people look bad...for example a dude with his shirt all open and his hair messy

I think you all are talking about "spanish language speaking people". I am Mexican and I speak spanish. If you don't know what spanish speaking people are saying and you think they are talking about you, maybe you should get mad at yourself for eavesdropping so much, damn so nosy. Also, remember learn your history. Take sociology, psychology, criminal justice, diversity studies to learn why there is hate towards individuals like myself. It is a lot deeply ingrained in history than people think.
