Why can't I get sound on my computer?

Why I can't sound on my computer. The lights are on the speakers.

Maybe try unmuting them? There's a volume button on your computers taskbar right?

I used to have same problem with my computer,the sound wasn't working,but I used to switch off the computer and then switch it on again..it actually helped...
