what is something romantic I can do for my boyfriends 22nd birthday.?

it depends what he's into! Me and my boyfriend did a tandem Bungee jump, where you're tied to each other and he loved it but it may not be your boyfriends cup of tea! or even yours x] I know it wasn't mine but thats why it showed that I made more of an effort, by doing something I didn't want to really do but did for him.

even if it's just like packing a picnic and having a nice day somewhere far from home, it will show that you've tried hard to make him happy

Depends what your into, what he's into, how long you've been going out and how much you want to spend.
A few things he would most likely LOVE...being a guy...if for you to give him something like a lap dance and buy like a kinky outfit for yourself and wear this while doing this. But if you don't feel comfortable with this don't do it. Or if you do this kinda thing regularly. Obviously this woudln't be like the main present but yeah I imagine he wouldn't mind it too much =P
You could even book both of you into a really nice hotel and just spend like the whole weekend or whatever just being together and enjoying a bit of luxary.
