Hi,

Here are the legal definitions. It's best to consult your lawyer to get more specific help on your particular case.

Sole Custody:
An arrangement whereby only one parent has physical and legal custody of a child and the other parent has visitation rights.

Permanent Guardianship:
The Permanent Guardian will be responsible for providing for the child both physically and emotionally. The Guardian must provide a healthy and safe living environment, an education and all the necessary and appropriate medical treatment, including but not limited to medical, dental and psychiatric care.
