Really hot showers would also dry out your skin because it strips away all the natural oils that your skin makes. I have skin that my husband always tells me feels like a teenagers (I am 35). I take warm showers, try to avoid the sun - or use a lot of sunscreen, and if I happen to find a really dry patch I put vaseline on it at night. This usually softens it up in the morning. Oh, I also exfoliate twice a week and use shower gloves instead of a washcloth. The shower gloves are a little rough and really get rid of that gross dead skin.
Hope this helps...good luck

Soft skin
How do you get smooth, soft and healthy skin?
For some reason my skin has become really dry and lotion is not helping.
I take really hot showers, I use soap bars and shower gel, I use lotion when im done.
Also if you tell me the products to use...
that would really help.
