I have the exact same problem. My mom made me practice
ok, so-if someone says something, and no one says anything, just start whistling or something funny.
if someone is saying something mean to u, just smile and say "are you finished, I have better things to do than listen to you jabber on"
if someone is saying something like a compliment, say "back at ya!" or "aww, thanx. Gimme a sec, lemme think of a compliment for u!"
im rackin' my brain here for ya...
if you think those are helpful, just message me, and ill think of some more. If you find this totally useless, sorry lol
I have the same problem you do... can't think on my feet...always a after thought...
not very witty as some... My husband reads a lot and maybe just be more aware of current events helps... so good luck...maybe your'e just the thoughtful writer...not the clown...not everyone is gifted with gab... try some rehersal that's what I am going to do...

How can I improve my social skills?
ok I have decent social skills but I would like to make them better. a lot of the kids at my school just know what to say right off the bat... and I can't do that... just maybe like some good comebacks or some examples of what to say in certain...
sittuations would help. Thnx!
