Blood in lungs

If you read my last question I was coughing up a lot of blood
I just wanted to say thanks for all the advice telling me to go to the hospital

Turns out I tore something inside me and the blood from it went to my lungs the doctors couldnt do anything...

unless I wanted a minor surgery but truth is I'm scared so I said no

any advice how to take care of myself?

you need that opperation!... they will put you an an annestetic and everything will be fine.. blood pooling inside you can cause many problems and could kill you... you could drown in you own blood. I know that is scary but is true. a persons son at my church was found dead in his home when they did an autopsy his lungs were full of blood along with his throat because I guess he threw it up in his sleep or something and suffocated. best whishes!!!<3

You should ask the doctors about this. No-one here is qualified to advise you.

I'm not even going to address your question on what should YOU do to sort this out? you can't ask advice for something when you haven't given an actual medical diagnosis, and if the doctors feel it requires surgery, then who are we to disagree? doc's don't do surgery lightly...if they think you need it, you do! if there was a way of doing it WITHOUT surgery, I feel confident they would venture down that avenue first

you NEED to have that little op, honestly! what is it thats worrying you?

if it's 'going under' - DON'T worry! honestly, I've had 3 ops, and going under is by far the best bit! bring on the pre-meds!!!

if it's something going wrong, then think about the health implications if you DON'T have it done!

if it's pain or discomfort after; they will give you pain relief, and they always have a pain managment programme for individual patients...

us health care workers don't want our patients to be in pain, discomfort or in a state of anxiety..we just want to get you healthy again...

c'mon buddy, why don't you want it done? you got good advice of funadvice before, I'm sure most people believe that this op is in your best interest x

Why did you say no!!!1 you need it if you dont you might end up dieing and I dont think you want to die get the sugury its not that bad I've gotten a sugury befor after it I was just fine

this means like you have some type of lung cancer or something my friend was coughing blood one day the next day she died and I cant remember what she had but it was something serious

please go get the surgery. the doctor said it was minor. I had surgery because I broke my femur bone in my leg and I was scared to death but I got throught it just fine. again I am going to say please go get the surgery because I dont want anyting to happen to you. one of my friends died on another website and I cried a whole bunch so I dont want to go through that again. for your sake, your family's sake, your friends's sake in real life, and all of your online friends here go get it done.
