Does anyone know anything about snakes?

Ball Pythons can be really shy at first but they are not particularly aggressive. If they do feel threatened, they roll themselves into a ball with their head tucked in. Very rarely do they ever strike. They need a hide box that is dark and a water dish large enough to soak in. They need a heat source but not a UVB light because they are nocturnal animals. Humidity around 60% is good. Day temperature mid 80s with basking spot of 90 Farehnheit. Nightime upper to mid 70s with a basking spot of 80 or more. Males are around 3 1/2-4 1/2 feet. Females are a little larger at around 4 1/2-5 1/2 feet. The snake usually runs around $80 (plus tax).
