Do you give snakes live mice

you can do, its all personal preference, and some dont take to live mice. mines a cornsnake, and I've always fed it defrosted mice which have been frozen, partly because I think its cruel to feed it alive, and also because the mouse might bite the snake.

I Think Its Cool To Watch Nature Take Course But Use Should Really Only Feed Pythons Live Mice.

pythons would probably have a better chance of attacking the prey if it starts to bite, well maybe anyway! lol. oh but sometimes I wriggle the mouse around for abit, so the snake will think its moving and alive, and then it quickly pounces. =)

I think steph means, like what will happen in the natural world. in the wild snakes dont get people killing their food and preparing it for them. they have to fend for themselves.
