Good bait for trapping snakes?

Hey what are the odds that I've caught or seen around 6 bullsnakes on nioce hot days and they averag for 4-7.8ft do people find many bulls snakes over 7 ft there the biggest I've ever seen I ussually use my hands to cach them or set and ice pick on there...

head to hold them down I want to catch them in like traps and what not anyone know how to make a good trap and whats good bait the main things I want answered is do many people find bull snakes over 7 ft long and how to make a good snake trap

a hole in the ground with leaves over it then put whatever it eats and take a live one and make it stick on the top of some leaves covering the trap.
