Snake issues

Thunder Robot Asked by funadvice 7 months ago, 2 answers.

when my corn snake sheds it comes off in pieces and it's suppose to come off in one big piece to prevent infection. shedding like that, in pieces, is caused by lack of moisture. So I soaked my snake, I put more water in it's cage, I put it in a steamy...

moss box and nothing seems to be working!!! what else can I do?

I have a ball python and you aren't supposed to use just water, you cn go to the pet store and they should have like a water additive it's a small bottle that you add 2 drops to every 8 ounces of water. I spray my snake with a spray bottle every day and also use it in her drinking water. every shed since I started using it has been one complete piece. Also in case you didn't know, I'm not sure what you are feeding your snake but, there is a powder you are supposed to put on your snakes food before you feed your snake. This power has vitamins and protein to help your snake to be health. hope this helps.

I had the same problem with my corn snake a few weeks back, I went on a forum repticzone.com you can get really good info.. when he starts to go dull/blue milky eyes bathe him every day/spray him. it will keep him moist so hopefully he should shed in one nice long skin :P
