I think some browns and purple-ish shades would look good.
If you are trying to achieve the smoky eye effect, you MUST go to youtube.com and search it. They have really great videos on there on how to do it and everything. Also a bunch of other make-up techniques. Thats how I learnt everything I know about applying make-up.
Your eyes sound gorgeous!
I have blue / green eyes but I generally like going for the smokey black effect.
For a smokey eye use the following steps:
Step 1: Holding the skin of your upper lid taut, apply eyeliner from the inside corner of the eye outward. Draw strokes into the lash line. The middle of the line should be a bit thicker than the edges.
Step 2: Use a cotton swap (or your finger) to "smudge" the liner.
Step 3: Dab an eyeshadow brush into a deep-hued eyeshadow and apply over the eyeliner to set the line. (Blow on the brush first to remove any excess shadow). Layering liner with a shadow is the secret to a perfect smoky eye.
Step 4: Blend shadow well, then follow with eyeshadow. "color should diffuse from rich and dark near the lashes to almost sheer as it extends to the crease."
Yes and what stephanief987 said: go on youtube! They have great videos showing you how to do all sorts of makeup tricks.
Good luck!

How to do smokey eye makeup for green eyes?
I am moderately fair skinned with light brown hair and dark green eyes with grey rings around the eye and gold flecks in the iris. I want to acheive a smokey eye affect with eyeliner and eye shadow. I want an eye shadow color for all over the eye and...
something for the crease and an eye pencil or liner that would best enhance my eyes while not making my undereye circle look to dark. Please also suggest the best color of mascara to wear. Do I need to to wear a different color of eye pencil under the eye such as teal? Thanjs so much
