Smelly dogs

Why do dogs have that certain odor no matter how clean they are??

Are you asking why dogs smell like dogs?? Is that the "certain" odor you're talking about?

I always wonder what we must smell like to them...(considering they have a million more nerve endings in their noses)...

dogs stink tho. humans dont once they take a shower and most dogs still have that odor even after you wash them. I think thats what she is trying to say. hahahaaha.

We all have a certain odor. If you smell one person hair and anothers they will smell different unless they are from the same family. My Dad use to say he could find his children by the smell of our hair even if he was blind. He also said it hadn't changed since we were babies.

I think we are attracted to certain people because of scent and not attracted to others for that same reason.

I like the smell of my dogs fur, as long as they haven't rolled on something dirty or nasty. Maybe that is why some people like dogs and others don't, scent.

All animals have a smell or scent, shower or no shower and rather we like it or not. We are all animals. Like that thought or not.

um the whole hair thing I dont understand. you couldnt really be able to smell someones hair from even just having a conversation with them face to face unless your actually sniffing really hard or your hair stinks like sweat from not washing it for a while? so which is it? cause I dont understand the wierd comment above. perhaps your dad was part dog? he must have a really powerful sense of smelling... and even if the person just washed their hair with a shampoo that smells really good, u'd have to actually sniff their head or its possible if they walk by and you get a whiff of the smell... really confused... :-/
