Why does my vagina smell?

so I have been talking to my boyfriend and he says my vagina has a smell to it. He said its fishy. I dont know what to do. Like whats causing it? How do I get rid of it?

Your vagina might have a musky smell to it, especially when you're aroused, but that's completely normal. The 'fishy' smell is not. It is usually caused by a bacterial infection. I would go see a doctor.

Before you run off thinking you've got something wrong with you, ask yourself: do you ever smell anything? If it's THAT bad, you'd probably catch a whiff when you change your underwear or sit cross-legged.

okay it's actually from your period think does it happen a couple days to a week your so from your period??? if so, which is the case for me, it's because of some of your period blood is still in your uterus and bacteria is building up but the smell will usually go away in a few days
try doucing if that doesn't work and the smell is consistent wash yourself with soap and water everytime you take a shower if those don't work go to the doctor

THEY PERSON RIGHT AFTER YOUR PERIOD I AM SURE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS YEA BUT I WOULD BE GOING AND GETTING THAT CHECKED OUT AND KEEP THE BOY FOR SNIFFING YOUR WAY TO YOUNG HONEY YOU HAVE A WHOLE LIFE A HEAD OF YOU READ UP ON STD IT SCARY GIRL.

Maybe if you wash it with a little bodywash then if you keep on doing that everyday then it should start to wear off hope this helps xx
