My 8 month old won't sleep.

my 8 months old daughter does not sleep more than 2 hours at a time

was she breast fed? or is she still? does she wake for food or more out of rountine? what does she want when she wakes?

if you let me know what her routine is I'd be more than happy to try and help

wow, that's got to be tough for you. A lot of time babies get stuck into a routine and it's hard to break it. Has she been doing this since she was born? But, as sooitca said without knowing her routine it's hard to help you.

I dont know how much this will help, but when I was baby, I didnt sleep at all, id sleep maybe an hour or so and I was up for the rest of the night and day, I didnt take any naps, and I did this like 2-3 years!! anyways mom and dad, just had to stay up wit me, one would sleep the other one be up, ya know take turns...you cant force your child to sleep, b/c dad would spank me and mom made him stop b/c I didnt know I was doin anythin wrong I was just a kid who wasn sleepy and didnt like bein in my crib, they took me doctors but they wasn going anyhwere wit it, so mom and dad just kept takin turns, like I said you cant force them to sleep if they dont want to...finally one night I decided I was sleepy and I fell asleep and slept the whole night, have been ever since, im not a doctor but I say its just a phase and your baby will grow out of it
