Singing v. writing?

Grey Goose ? ; D Asked by anonymousasker 5 months ago, 4 answers.

okay so I have two passions..
Singing/Music & Writing...I dont know what to do,
people tell me to be a song-writer, but I unno, I think if I did JUST write songs, id never be happy, because id be the one who wants to sing them..
and Everyone knows, that...

its extremely rare to become famous, or even known as a singer in the world today.
Writing is a thing I love, but music is my true love.
but writing is a more guaranteed thing,
what should I do with my future?...

Use writing as your back up. You can become an author, then go back and get the degree for song writing. You can write songs part time then send them in, while still making money off of writing books and such.
