Sims 2 pets ps2 garbage can glitch

When I moved in my dogs knocked over my garbege can. I didn't bother picking it up for a while or something and when I finally did it didn't have a lid anymore... I don't remember what exactly happened. anyways now I cant use it. I have to buy a garbage...

can and use it but it fills up. so I have piles of gabage all over my front yard and I have to clean my own house because my maid will sit there trying to throw something away all day. I'm rich now so I dont want to start a new game. I tried moving my family out and ulldozing the house. when I moved back in the garbage can still had no lid and wouldn't work. this is really annoying! what can I do?

Someone had this problem before and this was the answer:

"mts2 did a hack for buyable trash can, it was a while back but you might still find it there, otherwise just move to a new lot."

I know you do not want to start a new game because you are rich now but you can start a new game I know the cheat to gt 10.000 dollers it is 'up' left' down' right'.but befor that you have to type in 'L1'L1'R1'x'x'up'. good Luck!!!
