I few things you should know, and also consider, prior to making any type of purchase for your phone. Now, I can tell you this, Nokia Has an EXCELLENT Line of durable phones,
First & foremost, it is always a good idea to purchase from the manufacturer, as opposed to through your carrier, the reason in being because; although some cell phone providers do honor the actual manufacturers warranty, which is provided for the majority of items available to a customer for purchase. The best option is to go from the source, now this phone is undoubtedly E911 compatible + All Digital Network. This is required when bringing a cell phone into a network. If you already have a cell phone provider, be aware though if you're service is Verizon Wireless, the technologies on their network, may not necessarily be compatible with that of the technologies of your phone.
Furthermore, I was able to gain this information via the Nokia website.
NokiaUSA.com order department: 1-866-59NOKIA (1-866-596-6542)
I would recommend contacting them, as per obtaining a new sim card for this phone you have acquired.
One more thing to note, be aware that cell phone companies, if ever a phone is LOST/Stolen: The ESN/Model or (Sim) IS listed on a LOCKED (Negative list) However, if you are going to buy a new sim card, this you wouldn't have to worry about, but another nice to know.
I wish you good luck! And hope you find what you are looking for..
Sincerely,
~Benjamin~
