Why? He does what he wants...good to see he's using his time better anyway.

How could we, do you know him personally or something? It would be awesome if he did come back, but I think he will when he feels ready, or maybe he won't, who knows! I do miss his insightful, "sugar-free" responses also though!

He asked for his account to be removed, so, we obliged him.

Apparently, his email address on file was fake, because he told me he never got the cancellation email. Personally, I find people that use fake email addresses on site to be shallow...but, that's just me.

Not really, I wasn't much a fan of his "sugar-free honesty"

Captainassassin had his reasons for leaving. There are a few people on here who have his real email address (not me) and have occasional contact with him, so we could ask him to come back. But, think about what you know of Captainssassin - if we asked him, do you think he'd say "Oh, they want me back, ok!"? Somehow I don't think he's that sort of person.

I'm not privy to the reason's why he left, but unless the cause of those reason's disappear, I wouldn't think we'd see him back on here any time soon. Maybe one day, he will decide he wants to come back. But how we feel about it is unlikely to have any bearing on his choice.

We can ask all we want, but Captainassassin has no intention of coming back. I've asked him if he intends to come back, and he has told me that it's not going to happen. It's a shame, but the reality is, he just isn't interested in coming back. A lot of us will miss him, but I think it's time we moved on from this.

He was definitely one of my favorite people here, but I don't think he'll be back. FunAdvice seems to go in the same vicious cycle of questions(and answers!) and I think he just got bored with it. You can only argue your point so many times before you get frustrated and give up.

I think he'd want everyone to be like "OH I miss him!! Where is he? Come back! blah blah".

Not worth it to even discuss it then, in my opinion.

Abrasive, but often interesting. RIP captainassassin.

I miss him at times. . . if he chooses to return that cool and if he chooses not to that cool too.
